Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs
Do you accept walk-ins?
We do not accept walk-ins. All appointments should be set by filling out our online NEW CLIENT FORM. Prior to filling out the form, please read through our website to understand how we are different from other veterinary clinics. For example, if you have an anxious pet, please mention that on the form. We have an open space clinic, but do have a closed room for nervous pets. Another important point to note is that we only work with pet parents who understand our approach to integrative veterinary medicine, specialized individual diagnosis, and use of both traditional and Chinese medical veterinary therapies.
How long is the first visit?

What is the cost of first appointment with Dr. Bhatt?

Arya Animal Acupuncture is a Specialty Integrative Practice led by a team doing revolutionary treatments not yet practiced widely. The level of expertise, time, and care lead to us creating what we know is value to you and your pets.
We require a deposit for all new clients/patient's first appointments. This is a non-refundable deposit that will be credited to your pet’s first visit.
What Practice information should pet parents be aware of?
Diagnosing and Treating Your Pet -
All patients will now undergo Stance Analyses prior to treatment to assess the effectiveness of the treatments afterward.
We understand the stress pet parents feel when dealing with a sick pet. However, we do not accept rude behavior nor do we want to work with pet parents who do not trust the process. When Dr. Bhatt assesses a patient, she takes all aspects into consideration and prepares an integrative treatment plan to best address all aspects of the pet’s condition. This will include traditional medical treatments as well as alternative therapies. We are not holistic, but are integrative - there is a difference. Dr. Bhatt then explains the entire plan with the pet parent to work together towards healing the pet. Our focus is on healing your pet within our expertise, and we cannot do that if we are not on the same page with the pet parent.
Our Medical Team - We respect you and your pet, and expect the same in return. We have qualified veterinary staff to offer immediate expert advice. If a question is more for Dr. Bhatt, they will definitely bring it to her attention and will get back to the pet parent after getting a complete answer - please do not expect an immediate response. Keep in mind that Dr. Bhatt is treating other patients and will address questions in-between appointments.
