Glenview, IL – March 26, 2025– Arya Animal Acupuncture - Specialty Integrative Veterinary Medicine is expanding its advanced specialty services with in-house veterinary cardiology evaluations, beginning April 4, 2025. The clinic is proud to welcome Dr. Nonya Fiakpui, VMD, MS, DACVIM (Cardiology), a board-certified veterinary cardiologist, to offer expert heart health assessments for pets in Illinois and beyond.

Under the leadership of Dr. Priya Bhatt, DVM, MS, CVAa, CVFT, CVMMPa, Arya Animal Acupuncture is known for blending cutting-edge diagnostics with Eastern and Western medical approaches to treat chronic illness, pain, and neurological disease with compassion and precision.

About Dr. Nonya Fiakpui
Dr. Fiakpui is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Cardiology). She earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The Ohio State University, and pursued a residency in small animal comparative cardiovascular medicine at Purdue University, where she also earned a Master of Science degree.
She has practiced in referral hospitals across Sweden and New England and is widely respected for her work in telemedicine cardiology, supporting practices around the world through real-time consultations. As founder of Synchrony Veterinary Cardiology, she is dedicated to making advanced cardiology more accessible to general practitioners.
